Humpdate.

I'm giggling uncontrollably at my own subject line cleverness. Do you see what I did there? I combined "Hump Day" with "Update"!

Alright, I'm sorry. I'm sleep-deprived and over-caffeinated.

But, as promised, an update:

Today I decided to quit my tutoring job. It was quite frankly not worth the pay. It didn't provide me with any useful experience, mildly interesting or friendly coworkers, or enough hours to make the paychecks worth dragging my butt in there. I loved the kids, which is not surprising, but the format of this particular center is such that 90% of my time was spent grading papers rather than focusing on the kids, which frustrated me to no end. I do need a full-time, "REAL" job, and this will give me a little more time to pursue that end. I used to think that when I graduated college, I would just get a glamorous, decently-paying job right off the bat. And once this was accomplished, I would quickly climb the ladder of success in my dainty little heels. I still intend to climb said ladder, but am realizing it's going to take a little longer than planned. I can handle it. Gonna start by learning Excel. Ha.

Let's see, what else...Ella-Bear is 5 months old today, and God love her, a bit of a nightmare as of late. When she's happy, though, all is right with my world, and I still would do anything for that little girl. Though it would be nice if she could please just stay entertained for more than five minutes at a time.

Progress is shaky on my quest to bring sexy back to my body. Yes, I am aware that the question of whether sexy was there to begin with is subject to debate. The Pros this week: I have worked out every day. Okay, I guess there is only one pro. Shoot. The Cons: It's only Wednesday and I am still eating a fair amount of crap. I did manage to get back on the treadmill for a bit today. Will probably try again tomorrow and add on another mile, but I'm willing to take it slow. Actually, not willing to, thrilled to, but whatever.

Ok, I was relieved when I got here and found out Humpdate was an update on hump day and not a post about your latest date :o hahahaha I'm a little sleep deprived and over caffeinated too :p I would have quit too if they stuck me with paperwork and took the kids away. The kid's are the reason you're there. Sheesh, don't they get that? Anyway, I'm glad you quit. Keep trying hun, you'll find your dream job before too much longer. And congrats for reintroducing your self to your treadmill..I bet it missed you :D
